After 46 years of employment in church related vocations, I decided I needed a hobby to keep me occupied when I retired. A friend gave me a custom pen as an “honorarium” for speaking to his Bible study leaders, which captured my attention and thus began my hobby of custom pen turning. I have been making custom handcrafted pens since 2006. I take great pride in carefully turning and finishing my pens with precision. Each pen is turned on a wood lathe, sanded, and then finished with a 13-step polishing process. I have used a variety of woods, acrylics, rifle casings, corn cobs, feathers and a selection of other materials to make the pens unique!  You can use one of my custom pens with pride or give it as a unique gift to friends or family.
